Polaroid Blocks Are in the Mail

I finished the blocks for the *Picture-Perfect* Polaroid Block Swap.  I had so much fun making them, and I love how they turned out.  We swap them untrimmed, so they don’t look quite as much like Polaroids as they will once they are trimmed.  I got a little carried away and made 276 of them.  I’m keeping 62, swapping 205, and giving the rest to Debbie of A Quilter’s Table, the lady kind enough to host the swap.  It’s probably good that I ran out of time before I made any more.  I’m really excited to see what I get back in the mail.

The pictures below show some of the blocks I sent to swap.  The quality of the pictures is poor because I had terrible lighting, but they give a good idea what the blocks look like.  Click on any of the pictures to view a larger image.

Wow – that’s a lot of blocks! The blog banner is so much fun.

I know! I had no idea that I had made that many. I totally would have kept going if it hadn’t been time to send them in. They’re really addicting!

Thanks for the compliment on the blog banner. I took the picture because chain piecing the blocks that way reminded me of pictures on a string. Once I had the picture, it just begged to be the banner.

Awesome blocks & you are one generous swapper! So glad you’ve enjoyed it!
