So, my goal was to finish step three of the Easy Street mystery before Bonnie revealed step four today. Unfortunately, on Monday night when I tried to make these:

I actually made these:

Naturally, I didn’t notice the mistake until after I had repeated it 74 times. So, all of my sewing time for the rest of the week was spent ripping out seams. Good thing I had a friend to keep me company.

Hopefully I can finish ripping the last 19 seams tonight so I can get started on step four this weekend. We’ll see what happens. I also need to get things ready for my parents’ arrival on Monday, so I may not get as far as I had hoped with the sewing. While I’ll probably fall a bit behind, at least I’m still having fun. I think that enjoying the process is worth more than finishing on time.
Oh, ouch. I hate it when that happens, and it does all too often. Here’s hoping you get them fixed in time.
Oh, no! I hate it when you don’t notice your mistake until waaaaay down the road.
